Freezing title rows and columns in Excel
Modified By Software Programming on 12/29/2009 4:02:25 PM)

Question: How to freeze a title row or column in Excel so that the row or column stays in place when scrolling?

Answer: Use the freeze panes or freeze row or freeze column feature.

If you want to freeze both rows and columns or more than one row or one column, first select the area you want to scroll. You only need to select the first few rows and columns of the area you want to freeeze.

Go to the View menu and Freeze Panes feature (alt-w f). Select the option you want.
