If you are a low handicap golfer, and you are in the market for your new golf clubs, you should seriously consider the Titleist AP2 712 Irons. Titleist golf clubs have also high reputation in the world. While the AP2 712 irons have a more square profile than before, a feature specifically requested by Titleist's Tour players. A forged carbon steel head is aided by a high-density tungsten weight, creating increased playability. Titleist wanted to improve distance control and achieve a more consistent ball speed with the 712 AP2 irons.
This is certainly a very easy club to hit. At address the offset is larger than in the Titleist AP1 Irons but not so much that it will put better players off. The head size is also larger and inspires a lot of confidence at address withouth appearing too chunky. The 712 AP2s are a joy to hit and the True Temper Dynamic XP shaft is light and lovely to use. The sound and feel at impact is excellent and the trajectory was not much higher than the AP1s. In my opinion, AP2 is one of the best Titleist irons ever, cruel ball hit, solid feel and control. Allowed to control the ball. If you have not tried it, do it.
Great news, there are many new clubs and combo sets for sale on www.igolftimes.com
