Wanted to write some code for the Windows Live Mail client.

I have a bunch of different from email addresses. Some are for clients. The problem is, sometimes by accident I use the wrong from email address.

This happens because Windows defaults the from email address based on some criteria. Sometimes this is a from email address I do not want to use, like sending to one of my customers from another customer's account.

Want to write a program to check the from email address and if it is a customer's from email address and the message is not going to that same customer, then pop up a message asking if that is correct.

I wrote an Outlook Macro like that, which is published here.

Looked around and could not find any Microsoft supported programmable access to Windows Live Mail.

Microsoft does have a Windows Live SDK, but it does not seem to have access to Windows Live Mail.

Nektra has a Windows Live Mail API they developed. Have not tried it.
